TL;DR
IOP Counselor (CRADC/LPC/LCSW) (Behavioral Health): Providing intensive outpatient counseling and addiction treatment through ASAM-based admissions, clinical documentation, evidence-based curricula, and crisis support with an accent on substance use disorders, patient engagement, and regulatory compliance. Focus on delivering Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT programming, developing individualized interventions, and coordinating care, referrals, billing, and community outreach.

Location: On-site in Springfield, Missouri, USA, including Springfield North locations

Behavioral Health Group (hirify.global) operates a national network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers focused on opioid addiction treatment and intensive outpatient, opioid treatment, and office-based opioid treatment programs.

What you will do

  • Serve as a primary ambassador for the Intensive Outpatient Program and support program operations and growth.
  • Conduct admissions and eligibility reviews using ASAM Level 2.1 criteria.
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress documentation, and other records required for regulatory, billing, and prior authorization standards.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling, targeted case management, crisis support, individual sessions, and transitional counseling.
  • Deliver at least three hours per day of program curriculum, four days per week, including the Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams, case managers, billing and revenue cycle teams, referral partners, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

Requirements

  • Hold one of the following credentials: CRADC, LPC, or LCSW.
  • If not fully licensed, be enrolled in or willing to begin a formal course of study toward licensure at the date of hire.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, and social services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, judgment, discretion, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations and maintain confidential, accurate, and compliant patient documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site in Springfield, Missouri, USA.
