R&D Engineer Intern (Semiconductors)

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Nebraska, United States. The position is open only to U.S. Persons under applicable export-control regulations, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.

What you will do

• Research and determine designs for new products, processes, and materials.
• Analyze equipment and establish operating data.
• Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results to identify optimum materials and processes.
• Assess manufacturing processes and identify methods to improve site efficiency and effectiveness.
• Research, analyze, and compile data for reports and presentations.
• Complete an end-of-year project presentation and collaborate with staff to resolve problems.

Requirements

• Have completed 1–3 years of college.
• Be enrolled in a mechanical, electrical, or chemical degree program.
• Qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR and/or EAR requirements.
