Maintenance Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Fayetteville, Tennessee, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: Starting at $29.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 shift premium for off shifts; DOE.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
• Install new production equipment and perform mechanical repairs using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
• Develop maintenance standard operating procedures and complete preventive maintenance, equipment care, work orders, reports, and documentation.
• Inspect used parts and determine dimensional requirements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Use CAD and CAM software and perform welding, inserting, or replacement repairs while balancing quality, cost, and delivery.
• Support 5S, quality, safety, Kaizen, lean manufacturing, and environmental initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three years of maintenance experience in an automotive manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery, perform mechanical repairs, and use measurement tools.
• Ability to comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards and instructions.
