Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, United States; on-site weekend shift with work required on Saturdays and Sundays

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance on machine tools, including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, complex repairs, and initiatives to improve machine uptime and reliability.
• Complete occasional CAD projects and assist with implementing and maintaining the CMMS program.
• Follow quality, safety, housekeeping, and operational standards while prioritizing work under production pressure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent military experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus basic electrical systems up to 480V, motors, starters, relays, and VFDs.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and clamp meters.
• Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals with refugee or asylee status. Temporary visa holders are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with injection molding machines and CNC equipment.
