Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Teresa - Industrial Ave, United States. Onsite work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm–6:30am.

Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a $0.75 per hour third-shift premium.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and related machinery problems.
• Establish and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Complete building maintenance, minor repairs, equipment dismantling, and installation.
• Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and repair records.
• Coordinate work-related contracts and supervise outside mechanical and electrical contractors.
• Support health, safety, quality, Lean, and PPE requirements while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• High school diploma or GED, plus a technical degree or certificate.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math and data entry.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification for material-handling equipment such as forklifts, side-loaders, lifts, or cherry pickers.
