Intake Representative II - Rivers Edge Outpatient Rehab - Full Time

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; Rivers Edge outpatient rehabilitation site on Queen City Avenue. Variable days and early evenings, 32 hours per week.

What you will do

• Independently manage the new-patient office and respond to patients, providers, and referring offices.
• Process incoming referrals, contact patients, and schedule appointments with appropriate providers.
• Answer and screen calls, provide information, and direct inquiries as needed.
• Collect and verify demographics, insurance coverage, patient history, referrals, testing, and medical records.
• Track referrals through completion, follow up on pending issues, document updates in Epic, and escalate urgent requests.
• Complete MINI registration and maintain referral logs, records, and filing systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of related medical office experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Epic electronic medical record.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control standards.

• Previous orthopedic rehabilitation experience.
