Support Service Specialist

Location: Eugene, Oregon, USA; onsite

What you will do

• Support participants with daily needs and program engagement.
• Monitor the facility and promote a safe, welcoming environment.
• Document participant interactions and program activities.
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with staff and community partners to support participant success.
• Uphold program policies, service standards, HIPAA privacy practices, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in a 24-hour care facility, shelter, supportive housing, residential treatment, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of local community needs and resources, with commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
