Location: 885 Roosevelt Rd., Glen Ellyn, Illinois, United States; onsite daytime work in a medical practice office

Salary: $19.00–$24.70 per hour

What you will do

  • Greet pediatric patients and provide customer service in person and by phone.
  • Register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances, and update demographic information.
  • Answer calls, schedule appointments, coordinate outside testing, and direct patient inquiries.
  • Review Epic charts, verify consents and insurance cards, and prepare charts for appointments.
  • Process medical record requests and file test and procedure results according to protocol.
  • Complete daily reconciliation and support accurate, confidential, and safe office operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to work onsite during the day in a medical practice office.
  • Strong attention to patient confidentiality, safety, and information accuracy.
  • Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or medical records is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1–3 years of physician office experience.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
