Patient Services Rep - Family Medicine Full-time Days

Location: 2425 Fargo Blvd., Geneva, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time day shift

Salary: $19.00–$24.70 per hour

What you will do

• Provide front-desk and business office support for a family medicine practice.
• Greet patients, complete registration, verify insurance, collect co-pays and update demographic information.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, coordinate outside testing and document patient communications.
• Review Epic charts, prepare records for appointments, file test results and respond to authorized medical record requests.
• Complete daily charge reconciliation and maintain patient safety, privacy and confidentiality.
• Act as a liaison between patients, the practice, company representatives and potential employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Zero to two years of customer service experience.
• Ability to work a full-time daytime schedule in the Geneva, Illinois office.
• Patient-facing communication, organization and confidentiality skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One to three years of physician office experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
