Maintenance Superintendent (HVACR)

Location: Ramos Arizpe, Mexico; fully onsite with no hybrid or remote work

What you will do

• Design, implement, and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for industrial equipment, HVACR machinery, and plant utilities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team of 10–30 people, set priorities, allocate resources, and manage performance against MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and availability KPIs.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, external services, contractors, and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate equipment installation, improvement, and modernization projects focused on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• Apply RCM, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM methodologies to optimize maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and develop maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in HVACR, automotive, metal-mechanic, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams of 10–30 people.
• Technical knowledge of HVACR systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and automation.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP platforms such as SAP, Maximo, or Infor; ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and energy regulations, including ISO, OSHA, and NOM standards; intermediate–advanced English is preferred for corporate reporting and international suppliers.
