Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Compressor Assembly)

Location: On-site 5 days per week at Parque Stiva, Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico

What you will do

• Define assembly processes, equipment, work holding, automation, information flow, and material flow for scroll and screw compressor production.
• Coordinate sample builds during product design and provide design-for-manufacturing input and manufacturing guidelines.
• Implement assembly, testing, finishing, and packaging processes, including equipment acceptance, validation, capability and rate studies, and operations training.
• Justify, specify, procure, and install manufacturing equipment while managing alternative analysis and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate sample preparation, materials, data collection, improvement recommendations, equipment launches, and product launches.
• Support safety, productivity, sustainability, lean manufacturing, and new product introduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with mechanical assembly supported by automation and with manufacturing project management.
• Experience conceptualizing equipment, material handling systems, work cells, and operator aids for integrator implementation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, automation, business systems, quality, product design, design for manufacturing, and operator efficiency.
• Experience with validation metrics related to quality, cost, production rate, and sustainability, plus task coordination with operations and design functions.
• Advanced English and a valid U.S. visa are required.
