Data Product Owner (AI)

Location: Bloomington, IL, United States

Base pay: $94,400–$129,800 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders, product management, architecture, and data engineering teams to define and deliver enterprise data products.
• Translate business objectives, data needs, processes, and success criteria into actionable requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Lead Agile activities including backlog refinement, feature decomposition, sprint planning, user story development, acceptance criteria definition, and solution validation.
• Define data flows, business rules, integration requirements, data quality expectations, and operational processes for modern data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
• Create and maintain requirements, process flows, data mappings, data lineage documentation, feature specifications, and solution documentation.
• Prioritize backlogs, manage product development updates, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and support user acceptance activities.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, product management, engineering, architecture, and quality engineering teams.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery practices, Scrum collaboration, backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud-based technologies, analytics ecosystems, and data engineering solutions.
• Ability to document data flows, business rules, integrations, data quality expectations, and data lineage.
• Ability to work onsite in Bloomington, Illinois, United States.
