Director, Product Management - Data (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $286,500–$387,500 annually, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for the data platform portfolio.
• Lead modernization from legacy architecture to governed, self-service lakehouse patterns.
• Drive data infrastructure, batch and streaming processing, data quality, lineage, and governance capabilities.
• Enable self-service analytics, business intelligence, AI/ML data foundations, model training, and feature stores.
• Build and develop a high-performing data product organization and foster industry thought leadership.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define requirements, improve reliability, measure outcomes, and drive platform adoption.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience building SaaS or platform software products.
• Strategic product leadership experience aligning AI initiatives with business goals.
• Demonstrated success delivering AI solutions in digital environments.
• Extensive experience leading paid and subscription software products across their lifecycle.
• Experience working across product ecosystems to deliver business results.
• Experienced people leader able to recruit, develop, and retain product talent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science.
• Experience with AI/ML data infrastructure, feature stores, or MLOps.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.
