Manufacturing Technician 1 (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite clean-room manufacturing. Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m.

Pay: $19.30–$25.36 per hour

What you will do

• Execute probe card manufacturing processes including photolithography, thin film, etch, plating, assembly, testing, and inspection.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Collect and analyze operating data, make online equipment adjustments, and support process optimization.
• Work with engineering teams on tests and experiments to improve production processes and develop new products.
• Assist with training and coaching other technicians.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience; no formal occupational training is typically required.
• Knowledge of algebra, mathematics, statistics, problem solving, and technical problem solving.
• Clean-room operations, computer literacy, Microsoft Office, microscope use, manual dexterity, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a clean-room manufacturing environment and follow gowning and contamination-control procedures.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, handle small or delicate components, wear PPE for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
