What you will do

• Prepare wafers, clean reactors, and set up laboratory equipment for experiments.
• Operate reactors for thin-film processes and evaluate process-system performance.
• Prepare cross-section samples and operate scanning electron microscopes for CD, EDS, and imaging analysis.
• Identify patterns of interest, optimize imaging and sample-preparation conditions, and document process observations.
• Perform SEM software alignment, routine maintenance, system shutdowns, and equipment setup.
• Coordinate with requestors, vendors, purchasing, and repair teams while monitoring wafer throughput.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of basic scanning electron microscope principles.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with required personal protective equipment and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces and at height, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work around electricity and potentially high noise levels.
