Senior PLM Systems Administrator

Salary: $107,365–$128,577 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly incentive pay.

What you will do

• Own the global PTC Windchill PLM ecosystem, including security, workflows, lifecycles, upgrades, testing, validation, and deployment planning.
• Administer users, roles, permissions, licenses, products, libraries, object types, attributes, numbering, versioning, and business rules.
• Govern product structures, WTPart, EBOM, MBOM, engineering documentation, revision control, and engineering change management.
• Define and sustain integrations between Windchill and ERP, CAD, EPLAN, MES, QMS, and future digital-thread technologies.
• Lead cross-functional steering teams, vendor collaboration, enhancement prioritization, training, documentation, and system adoption initiatives.
• Evaluate PLM, AI, automation, and engineering technologies while developing business cases, ROI assessments, and implementation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of PLM administration experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct Windchill administration strongly preferred.
• Experience with PLM security, workflow configuration, vendor management, enterprise implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of product structures, bills of materials, engineering documentation, release management, manufacturing, and product development.
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable PLM configurations and coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and external providers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills; occasional after-hours support is required for major releases or critical incidents.

Nice to have

• Certifications in CM2, PMP, PLM, or Windchill.
• Experience with automation, analytics, AI-enabled technologies, low-code platforms, JD Edwards, EPLAN, global deployments, or process standardization.
