Workday Talent Tech Senior Engineer

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday Talent Management functionality.
• Gather requirements from HR and business stakeholders and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Design, configure, test, deploy, and support solutions covering talent reviews, talent pools, calibration, Career Hub, internal mobility, talent optimization, and Skills capabilities.
• Develop technical roadmaps and improve application quality, performance, scalability, usability, and delivery speed.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, report writers, integration engineers, and product and engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on Workday Talent Management configuration experience.
• Experience with talent reviews, talent pools, calibration events, Career Hub, internal mobility, talent optimization, and Workday Skills integration.
• Experience managing annual talent cycles and standalone project initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, testing, implementation, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve complex technical and procedural problems.

• Experience with Workday Talent Optimization.
• Experience partnering with Human Resources and Finance on enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Experience leading complex Workday implementations and enhancements.
