Sales and Design Consultant (Home Storage)

Location: Ronkonkoma, New York, United States; in-home customer consultations and measurements are required.

Salary: $65,000–$200,000 annually through commission compensation, with paid training and bonuses.

What you will do

• Design custom organization units using proprietary CAD software.
• Visit customers’ homes to conduct needs analyses, measure spaces, and develop storage designs.
• Use a consultative sales approach to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
• Follow up with customers, pursue referrals and repeat business, and manage a portfolio of projects.
• Collaborate with the installation team and participate in meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Education in interior design, direct industry experience, or a demonstrated passion for home décor.
• Professional, assertive consultative sales skills and the ability to promote products confidently.
• Strong customer engagement skills and the ability to create repeat-client relationships.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to manage projects of varying complexity.
• Availability for a full-time, 40-hour work schedule and in-home customer visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, CAD, or other design software.
