Salary: $55,355.40–$65,124.00 per year

What you will do

• Develop preliminary space plans, sketches, design concepts, drawings, diagrams, and construction documents based on client requirements.
• Select colors, materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork while considering function, safety, maintenance, lifecycle performance, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare layout drawings, detailed product descriptions, and contract documentation for pricing, procurement, and installation.
• Coordinate with allied design professionals and support contract administration, bids, and negotiations.
• Review documents for safety, functionality, code compliance, constructability, and applicable jurisdictional requirements.
• Report on project implementation during execution and after completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a FIDER-accredited institution, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience; NCIDQ certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Architectural Desktop.
• Ability to read and review construction documents and provide technical sign-off or approval.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems, construction materials, budgets, constructability, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and the five phases of an interior or architectural project.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, organization, multitasking, and Microsoft Office skills.
