Policy Forms Senior Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Remote within one of the listed US states for non-sales and non-customer-service positions. Eligible states are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California (exempt only), Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Candidates must be able to live and work full-time in an eligible state.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Draft complete new-state and new-product forms packages, including base policies, endorsements, amendatory endorsements, and required notices.
• Own the personal auto or property forms architecture and serve as backup for the other line of business.
• Research state insurance statutes and regulations and translate requirements into clear, compliant policy language.
• Draft responses to Department of Insurance objections and participate in regulatory discussions with counsel.
• Build reusable nationwide base forms, state kits, drafting standards, and templates.
• Evaluate AI-assisted research, competitor research, formatting, and drafting tools while reviewing generated output for accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting personal lines policy forms across multiple states.
• Experience interpreting state insurance statutes and regulations and converting them into policy language.
• Experience responding to regulator objections on form filings.
• Ability to independently draft complete forms packages with attorney review as the only check.
• Ability to handle complex or ambiguous statutory requirements with minimal guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal auto forms, including UM/UIM, PIP, selection and rejection forms, and state notices.
• Experience with property forms, including homeowners, condominium, manufactured home, flood, or surplus lines notices.
