Regulatory Analyst

Location: Remote in Washington State, United States; availability during Pacific Time business hours required.

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate high-volume regulatory communications with the state Medicaid regulator and manage audit deliverables through review and submission.
• Research Washington, federal, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, CMS, and other healthcare regulations.
• Analyze legislative bills and regulatory updates for their impact on health plan operations.
• Draft regulatory summaries, operational policies, procedures, and job aids.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings, track implementation of regulatory requirements, and document decisions and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with legal, regulatory, internal, and external stakeholders to address contractual and compliance issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compliance and regulatory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience interpreting complex regulatory and contractual requirements and translating them into operational guidance.
• Strong technical writing, research, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Washington State and during Pacific Time business hours.
• Experience with Washington Apple Health Medicaid managed care, state regulators, licensure filings, corporate governance, or contract management is preferred.
