Shopify Web Designer / Developer

What you will do

• Create, customize, and optimize Shopify storefronts with an approximate 60% coding and 40% design focus.
• Build reusable Shopify sections, templates, modular UI components, metafields, metaobjects, and custom content structures.
• Design responsive, accessible, and visually consistent experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Develop branded promotional and flow emails for product launches and campaigns using Klaviyo.
• Improve conversion, engagement, and usability through UX updates, campaign landing pages, and analytics-driven recommendations.
• Own storefront initiatives from concept and design through implementation, QA, launch, and iteration, including a new hirify.global D2C store and support for the Omada D2B store.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a Shopify Web Designer, Shopify Developer, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design, accessibility standards, UI systems, and modern front-end practices.
• Experience building reusable Shopify sections, modular layouts, scalable storefront systems, and dynamic content structures.
• Understanding of e-commerce UX, customer journey optimization, and conversion-focused design.
• Ability to troubleshoot Liquid rendering, third-party app integrations, CSS conflicts, and other front-end issues.
