Senior Scrum Master (SAFe)

Location: Remote in Florida, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $97,900–$133,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Guide Scrum teams in applying Scrum and SAFe practices to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt sessions.
• Coach, mentor, teach, and facilitate Agile team development while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support Product Owners with user story creation, prioritization, and Product Backlog refinement.
• Remove impediments, make work visible, and use team metrics to assess capacity, predictability, and Agile maturity.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve organizational Agile practices and support change initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Agile environment, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
• 2+ years working with Agile methodologies on large-scale, technically complex projects.
• Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, values, practices, and patterns.
• Proven coaching, mentoring, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and impediment-removal skills.
• Validated Agile credentials such as CSM, A-CSM, SA, PSM, or ICAgile certifications.
• Experience with Agile tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, VersionOne, or Rally.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience as a Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile Framework environment and SAFe certifications.
• Experience with Lean, Kanban, Agile coaching, portfolio tools, and data-driven team improvement.
• Experience with Gherkin, testing practices, DevOps, Azure DevOps, and cloud-based initiatives.
