Scrum Master, Software Delivery (Mobile & Cloud)

Location: Hybrid position based out of the New York City, NY office, with two or more days per week in the office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $165,000–$175,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Facilitate standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across Mobile and Cloud software teams.
• Coach teams on Scrum and Agile practices while improving ceremony effectiveness, backlog health, and delivery hygiene.
• Own and report sprint-level metrics, including velocity, burndown, sprint health, and ceremony adherence.
• Maintain visibility into cross-team dependencies and blockers, escalating issues that require broader coordination.
• Standardize ceremony structures and delivery-metric definitions as Agile practices mature across the organization.
• Identify capacity, ceremony ownership, and team-health risks before they affect delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct Agile/Scrum facilitation within a software engineering organization, ideally across mobile and cloud or platform teams.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, delivery metrics, and Jira or an equivalent dashboarding tool.
• Demonstrated success establishing or maturing Agile practices in organizations with inconsistent or newly formed processes.
• Ability to coach engineers, technical leads, and Product Owners without direct authority.
• Experience in regulated or governance-heavy environments such as medical devices, healthtech, or fintech, including awareness of SDLC and design-control requirements.
• United States work authorization is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Agile certification such as CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
• Experience in a growth-stage or scaling engineering organization.
• Exposure to SDLC or design-control documentation requirements in regulated software.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization.
