Consultant, Scrum Master (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio, with a preferred location at Three hirify.global Plaza

Salary: $118,000–$178,000 expected starting annual range; national range $118,000–$222,000

What you will do

• Serve as Scrum Master and servant leader for the OIPA Optimizers platform team supporting Life business operations.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including planning, daily synchronization, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Coordinate delivery of the OIPA platform upgrade, including sequencing, integration points, testing, cutover preparation, and post-release follow-through.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, impediments, delivery risks, competing priorities, and stakeholder expectations across technology and business partners.
• Coach multiple Agile teams in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOps, DataOps, and AI/MLOps practices.
• Use Jira, Planview, delivery metrics, and stakeholder feedback to improve flow, quality, predictability, and team health.

Requirements

• Six or more years of Agile experience, including at least three years as a Scrum Master or similar Agile leadership role.
• Experience leading Agile teams through platform maintenance, modernization, upgrades, or significant technology change.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, team coaching, continuous improvement, and Agile delivery metrics.
• Experience with Jira and at least three years working with ALM tools; experience with Planview for work planning, allocation, tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, influence without direct authority, resolve conflicts, and align business and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office environment in Columbus, Ohio; occasional on-call work may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
• Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe ScrumMaster, or Professional ScrumMaster certification.
• Technical background in software engineering.
