PMO Lead (Federal IT DevSecOps)

Location: Hybrid in Rockville, Maryland, or remote within the continental United States (CONUS); up to 15% CONUS travel required.

Salary: $224,000–$251,000 per year, with potential additional compensation such as bonuses.

What you will do

• Run the PMO for the VA Supply Chain Management DevSecOps task order and maintain the master project schedule.
• Track contract deliverables, risks, issues, mitigation plans, dependencies, action items, and critical paths.
• Administer Jira, GitHub, SharePoint, and related project tools while building dashboards for Agile and software delivery metrics.
• Create progress reports, federal contract documentation, status reports, staff rosters, risk registers, and reporting pipelines.
• Coordinate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Agile Release Train activities, onboarding, offboarding, and rapid rollout of Scrum Teams.
• Mentor junior staff, support recruiting and proposals, develop reusable processes, and contribute to quality audits and business growth.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of project management or PMO experience on federal IT service contracts.
• At least 3 years supporting Agile or SAFe teams, including hands-on Jira administration and reporting.
• Experience creating federal contract documents and building enterprise dashboards with tools such as Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, and Power BI.
• Strong experience with Integrated Master Schedules, Agile and DORA metrics, risks, issues, dependencies, and action tracking.
• PMP or CAPM certification is required; CAPM holders must obtain PMP within 12 months. SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent certification is also required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Background Investigation and ability to obtain a VA PIV credential required.

Nice to have

• PgMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL 4 Foundation, CISSP, or Security+ certification.
• Experience with VA IT processes such as VIP, PIV onboarding, and TRM.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
