Director if IT PMO

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States. The position primarily operates remotely from a home office or flexible workplace, with occasional office work and 20% travel.

Salary: $157,300–$209,833.33 annually.

What you will do

• Establish enterprise IT project delivery frameworks, governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead a portfolio of IT projects and programs across multiple regions and locations, managing dependencies, risks, resources, timelines, and quality.
• Drive adoption of robotic process automation across PMO and IT finance operations.
• Oversee OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, investment allocation, and portfolio performance.
• Manage vendor onboarding, billing, contracts, statements of work, reconciliation, and negotiations.
• Communicate project status and risks to business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership while managing direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management, program management, project portfolio management, or PMO leadership.
• At least 5 years of leadership or people management experience.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud implementations and enterprise ERP program management.
• Experience with project portfolio management tools, Microsoft 365, Atlassian Jira, RPA technologies, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate distributed teams across multiple regions, business units, and offshore delivery locations.

Nice to have

• PMO certification or equivalent.
• Experience with CPQ, CRM, fleet, or logistics systems.
