Head of People

Location: Fully remote, U.S.-based

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year, depending on experience and location

What you will do

• Own People Operations and Human Resources across the organization.
• Build scalable HR policies, processes, documentation, and employee programs for company growth.
• Lead employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and manager enablement.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HRIS administration, payroll coordination, benefits, and employment documentation.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Recruiting, Compliance, and leadership on employment matters, compensation, immigration, security, and organizational design.
• Drive strategic People initiatives, including performance reviews, leveling, promotions, equity administration, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources or People Operations experience with ownership of core HR functions.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law, compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters, investigations, terminations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
• Experience building or scaling People Operations in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience with performance management, compensation and leveling frameworks, equity programs, employment-based immigration, and HRIS administration.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting distributed or multi-state workforces.
• Experience setting up People Operations outside the U.S.
• Familiarity with Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
