Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (TS Clearance)

Location: Washington, D.C. Metro Area; remote-first with occasional travel to collaborate in person with customers and teammates.

Base salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus program and equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and launch resilient web applications and secure APIs for mission-critical operator workflows.
• Process, visualize, and fuse social media feeds, audio streams, and geolocation telemetry.
• Partner with Product, Design, domain specialists, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into effective user experiences.
• Deploy alongside tactical operators to build, validate, and optimize tools in real-world national security contexts.
• Extend the core platform with reliable data integrations, low-latency performance, and scalable infrastructure.

Requirements

• Active TS security clearance required.
• At least 5 years of full stack engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing responsive, scalable frontends, APIs, data structures, algorithms, and software designs.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, plus experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and harness development, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in an early-stage Seed or Series A startup.
• Experience developing AI products using natural language processing, computer vision, or other machine learning techniques.
