Vice President - Product (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, commercial performance, and end-to-end evolution of a global product portfolio covering payments, card issuance, and stablecoins.
• Own the full product lifecycle, from customer discovery, market research, and business cases through roadmap prioritization, launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on product vision, investment decisions, pricing, packaging, monetization, and portfolio performance.
• Drive go-to-market planning, customer adoption, strategic deals, market positioning, and commercial enablement with Sales, Marketing, Solutions, and Customer Success.
• Develop cross-border payments, real-time payment rails, FX, accounts, wallets, settlement infrastructure, card processing, authorization, tokenization, and network capabilities.
• Build and scale a high-performing product organization while partnering with Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Risk, Operations, banks, and card networks.

Requirements

• Significant product leadership experience in fintech, payments, banking infrastructure, card networks, or financial technology.
• Deep expertise in payments infrastructure, money movement, cross-border and real-time payments, card issuance or processing, and settlement.
• Experience owning product strategy, execution, commercial outcomes, pricing, revenue, payment volume, margin, adoption, retention, and unit economics.
• Knowledge of stablecoins, blockchain-based payments, or digital-asset infrastructure, with sound judgment regarding enterprise use cases.
• Experience building API-first B2B or enterprise platforms, launching products from 0-to-1, and scaling them globally in regulated environments.
• Strong AI fluency, executive presence, customer orientation, and ability to influence Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Treasury, and Operations.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth fintech or payments startup during a significant scaling period.
• Direct experience launching stablecoin-powered payments, settlement, treasury, or card products.
• Experience with both traditional payment infrastructure and blockchain-based rails.
• Experience owning a significant payments, cards, or fintech product P&L.
• Experience working with banks, card networks, issuer processors, payment schemes, liquidity providers, or blockchain infrastructure partners.
