Manager Retail Branch II (Finance)

Location: Puyallup, Washington, with a new Financial Center in Frederickson, Washington

Salary: $86,000–$110,000 annually, plus performance-based compensation incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the overall performance and operations of a new retail branch and a team typically consisting of fewer than 12 employees.
• Drive sales, service, membership, balance, and line-of-business growth while delivering strong member experiences.
• Coach, mentor, train, and develop employees, including supporting career planning and performance improvement.
• Set service expectations, analyze branch reports, manage expenses, and assist with the annual branch budget.
• Build relationships with members, employees, business partners, retailers, property management, and the local community.
• Partner with Recruiting to hire staff and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, credit union regulations, and SAFE Act requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• At least three years of leadership experience.
• At least four years of experience in sales, retail, or banking.
• Experience with relationship development, marketing, training, mentoring, and sales.
• Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment, with leadership, negotiation, and accurate mathematical skills.
• Annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator is required under SAFE Act legislation.

Nice to have

• Experience leading at least four direct reports.
• Experience in a financial institution.
