Senior VP of Experience & Commerce (AI)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $150,000 CAD–$200,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, operating model, and long-term priorities for the Experience & Commerce Practice.
• Lead the transformation of Experience & Commerce teams into AI-native delivery organizations using agents, AI-assisted workflows, and spec-driven development.
• Develop capabilities in AI-driven commerce, intelligent product discovery, predictive personalization, autonomous shopping agents, and generative AI-powered web experiences.
• Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams across engineering, consulting, architecture, business analysis, and delivery.
• Advise executive clients on platform strategies, business transformation, scalable digital solutions, and measurable business outcomes.
• Strengthen market leadership through thought leadership, integrated offerings, technology partnerships, and strategic go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading digital, technology, commerce, experience, or consulting organizations at scale.
• Executive experience building and managing multidisciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, consulting, business analysis, and delivery.
• Proven success defining strategy, leading organizational transformation, and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of modern digital architecture, cloud platforms, enterprise technology ecosystems, and platform-based delivery models.
• Experience leading complex digital experience, commerce, or customer transformation initiatives and engaging with C-suite stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI-enabled development approaches, agent-based systems, automation, and spec-driven development.
• Expertise with Adobe, Salesforce, Shopify, commercetools, Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, or similar platforms.
• Experience scaling regional or global practices in consulting, agency, or professional services environments.
• Thought leadership through publications, conference speaking, analyst engagement, or market-facing content.
• Experience developing strategic technology partnerships, reference architectures, talent strategies, and certification programs.
