SoC Integration and Design Engineer (AI)

Location: Mendota Heights, Minnesota, USA. Legal authorization to work in the US is required; company-sponsored immigration support is not available.

Annual base salary: USD 109,700–175,500, plus discretionary bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Define SoC architecture and integrate IP across advanced development programs.
• Perform detailed design analysis using leading-edge tools.
• Lead extended teams supporting simulation, synthesis, formal verification, constraint definition, and design validation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to support customer success.
• Consult with layout and DFT engineers to optimize area, performance, and yield.
• Prepare design specifications and other collateral for SoC releases.

Requirements

• Experience with SoC architecture, including AMBA interconnects, multiple processors, UART, high-speed DRAM, and multi-lane SERDES interfaces.
• Expertise in Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog.
• Strong understanding of physical implementation, process variation, and timing closure.
• Ability to analyze complex trade-offs and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including cloud-based documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of related experience.
