Director, Delivery Solutions Architects - Public Sector (AI)

Location: Maryland; Remote - Virginia; Remote - Washington, D.C. U.S. citizenship is required. Travel up to 30%, primarily within the Washington, D.C. metro area and to customer locations.

Salary: $249,600–$343,200 USD annually, plus potential performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and scale a team of Delivery Solution Architects and managers supporting public-sector customers.
• Define and improve post-sales execution strategy, account coverage, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Guide customers through use-case discovery, architecture, implementation planning, production go-live, adoption, and platform expansion.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and external partners.
• Advise strategic customers on cloud data platforms, analytics, AI applications, governance, security, and mission-critical workloads.
• Establish playbooks, metrics, review cadences, and escalation processes to improve delivery progress, customer health, adoption, and growth.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for public-sector client support and access obligations.
• 7+ years of customer-facing experience in technical delivery, architecture, consulting, customer success, professional services, or post-sales leadership.
• 5+ years of people leadership, including recruiting, coaching, developing, and leading managers.
• Experience building and leading post-sales, delivery, customer success, architecture, consulting, or professional-services organizations.
• Deep expertise in cloud data and AI technologies, including data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, ETL/ELT, governance, machine learning, data science, and AI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal civilian, defense, intelligence, state and local government, education, or other regulated public-sector environments.
• Experience delivering production-grade data products, analytics platforms, AI solutions, and secure, governable customer workloads.
