Senior Director, AI Center of Excellence

Location: Arlington, Virginia, or remote from Texas, New York, Colorado, or California, United States. Travel of 20–30% within North America is required, with occasional international travel.

Salary: $270,000–$315,000 per year, plus potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Establish and lead a dedicated AI Center of Excellence for global customer services.
• Standardize delivery practices, identify operational risks, and use data-backed decisions to improve service health.
• Align Support, Sales, Product, Engineering, Partner, and regional teams around customer and business outcomes.
• Lead the deployment, validation, and indexing of specialized agentic workflows.
• Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing technical organization focused on AI innovation.
• Guide teams through workflow transitions, technological transformation, and AI-driven delivery models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical services, AI operations, professional services, or similar roles in a high-growth SaaS or cloud environment.
• 5+ years leading regional or multi-regional teams with functional and matrixed reporting structures.
• Strong experience with AI platforms, prompt engineering, agentic architecture, and enterprise software.
• Proven ability to deliver KPIs related to deployment speed, workflow efficiency, margin, and utilization.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading specialized teams through technological transformations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized credentials in AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Architecture, or Data Science.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
