What you will do
- Establish and run the shared AI infrastructure, including integrations, data boundaries, model registries, and a standard AI stack.
- Lead the governance council to implement security, privacy, approval, and quality monitoring guardrails.
- Define and execute the AI Center of Excellence priorities and roadmap in collaboration with other departments.
- Develop and report on AI efficiency metrics, including cost, throughput, and quality, via a dedicated scorecard.
- Create centralized training libraries and enablement programs to build AI capabilities across the organization.
- Hire, coach, and lead a team of forward-deployed AI engineers and administrators.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in technology, data, or product roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams with a track record of delivering measurable operational impact at scale.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, including LLMs and agentic systems.
- Deep understanding of production AI infrastructure, including model registries, SSO, and data-loss prevention.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and executives in a decentralized operating model.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
