Sr. Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Biotech)

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Base pay: $96,267–$126,351 USD per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Support sourcing, vendor selection, supplier market analysis, benchmarking, and commercial evaluation.
• Manage purchasing operations, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, open orders, uninvoiced receipts, vendor documentation, and purchasing records.
• Maintain supplier records and coordinate W-9, ACH, qualification, onboarding, due diligence, and SAP/S/4 HANA master data updates.
• Support commercial terms review, contract workflow, negotiation activities, and contract compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, suppliers, and business stakeholders to resolve purchasing issues and improve procurement efficiency.
• Prepare spend analyses, procurement reports, performance metrics, procedures, work instructions, and leadership updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience; regulated, GMP, pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience with SAP/S/4 HANA transactions, purchase requisition and purchase order lifecycle support, supplier onboarding, due diligence, and contract workflows.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies and approved AI tools, with responsible use, human oversight, and compliance with organizational policies.
• English is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
