Manufacturing Technology Mechanical Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $110,544–$172,725 annually, plus a 6% annual bonus target

What you will do

• Provide mechanical engineering expertise and technical leadership for chemical process manufacturing.
• Lead improvements in equipment maintenance philosophies, strategies, and practices.
• Monitor product and process performance, assess operational reliability, analyze failures and their causes, and recommend solutions.
• Define and document technology parameters that support required product quality and process capability.
• Serve as the technical lead for an assigned area and provide guidance for strategic business decisions.
• Own small capital projects and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls while applying process safety management principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 6–12 years of industry experience supporting chemical manufacturing processes or steam/power generation and distribution, or equivalent military experience.
• Strong background in root cause failure analysis.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas, is not currently available.

Nice to have

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience in the chemicals industry.
• Experience with process safety management and highly toxic materials.
