Manufacturing Project Engineer

Location: On-site five days a week at the Pontiac, Illinois facility. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 annually

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes for fuel injector assembly.
• Provide technical expertise and project leadership for production, cost, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate major manufacturing systems with the overall plant and improve productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Work with internal and external suppliers to evaluate and improve product and process designs.
• Guide manufacturing engineers and operators in developing high-quality products and processes.
• Assess automation opportunities and support robotics, computer-controlled machinery, and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical degree with relevant industry experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing capacity planning, resource forecasting, and production requirements.
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering design documentation.
• Project management, risk assessment, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work on-site five days a week in Pontiac, Illinois.
