Manager Plant Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: American Falls, Idaho, USA (Plant); onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $131,130–$196,660 annually

What you will do

• Lead the plant technical organization and develop engineering, maintenance, and reliability strategies.
• Lead the cross-functional development and implementation of capital plans with engineering, safety, quality, environmental, operations, maintenance, and finance teams.
• Develop and lead the Early Management Pillar, including long- and short-term plans, vertical startup, and loss prevention systems.
• Manage plant technical expense budgets and collaborate with Corporate Engineering on the capital budget.
• Lead projects and improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, asset utilization, sanitation, costs, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Provide work direction and coordinate mechanical, tactical, and administrative activities in the maintenance department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, or technical leadership experience; food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing technical or maintenance teams.
• Experience leading capital projects, equipment reliability programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, maintenance practices, reliability principles, industrial safety standards, CMMS, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and engineering software.
• Must be able to work onsite in a manufacturing plant, including flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
