Certified Athletic Trainer (Clinical Injury Prevention)

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States. Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, with either an 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or noon–8:00 p.m. shift.

Salary: $31.20–$39.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and implement early intervention programs, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, first aid, and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical-demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with onsite medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, outcomes, and patient health records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in meetings, task forces, and other assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training through AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• Experience in occupational health and safety, ergonomics, and knowledge of current OSHA regulations.

Nice to have

• Certification in a specialty area such as ergonomic specialty certification.
• Additional experience in ergonomics.
