Athletic Trainer (MSK Clinic)

Location: 259 E. Erie, Chicago, Illinois, United States; full-time day shift

Salary: $26.23–$36.72 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct athletic training and musculoskeletal patient care under the supervision of the referring physician.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations, select treatment modalities, adjust treatment plans, and monitor outcomes.
• Complete daily clinical documentation, discharge follow-up calls, and patient education.
• Participate in committees, process improvement initiatives, educational activities, and special projects.
• Build physician relationships through communication, clinical observation, and outreach activities.
• Act as a clinical instructor and role model for students, observers, and interns.

Requirements

• Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Illinois
• Master’s degree in athletic training if graduated after July 1, 2020; bachelor’s degree accepted if graduated before July 1, 2020.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, or within 90 days of hire for specified cost centers.
• Ability to provide direct patient care, maintain regulatory documentation, and follow Illinois professional standards.
• Willingness to flex the schedule for patient care needs and occasional meetings outside normal work hours.
