What you will do

• Provide direct physical therapy care for patients with a general neuro-orthopedic mix.
• Evaluate patients, select appropriate treatment modalities and protocols, and adjust treatment plans based on re-evaluations.
• Manage patient care from initial contact through discharge, coordinating consistently with treating PTAs and healthcare professionals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and provide materials appropriate to their level of understanding and motivation.
• Participate in departmental committees, process improvement, clinical education, mentoring, and service development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to meet department productivity, documentation, collaboration, and patient-care standards.
• Willingness to adjust schedules or assignments to meet patient-care and department needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
