Pharmacist-in-Charge, Specialty Pharmacy

Location: Watertown, New York, United States. Onsite work at 1308 Washington St., Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Base compensation: $150,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead specialty pharmacy operations and provide clinical oversight.
• Deliver personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services.
• Build relationships with local physicians and the medical community to support accurate and safe medication dispensing.
• Drive operational efficiency, continual improvement, and pharmacy team development.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and specialty diseases including autoimmune conditions, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
• Participate in committees supporting innovation in medication management and the role of pharmacists in healthcare.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of the New York State pharmacy board examination and a current, unrestricted New York pharmacist license are required.
• Current continuing education compliance.
• At least three years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, move throughout the shift, lift up to 25 pounds, and distinguish colors and shapes.
• Drug screening is required.

Nice to have

• Two to three years of pharmacy management experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.
