Staff Pharmacist

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri, USA; onsite office role

What you will do

• Process, verify, and inspect prescriptions before shipment.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education.
• Conduct medication therapy evaluations and prospective and concurrent drug use reviews.
• Monitor adherence, persistence, therapy impact, adverse events, and REMS documentation.
• Evaluate lab values, patient histories, allergies, disease states, and concomitant medications.
• Educate and supervise pharmacy technicians while resolving patient and prescriber inquiries, including occasional emergency dispensing and shipping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• At least two years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Current, unrestricted, and undisciplined Missouri pharmacist license required.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and basic phone system operation.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week in an office environment, including prolonged periods of standing or sitting and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• PharmD and five years of pharmacy practice experience, especially in specialty pharmacy or home infusion.
• Residency, management or Pharmacist in Charge experience.
• BCPS, MTM, or multi-state pharmacist licensure.
• Experience with multiple patient management and dispensing systems.
