Supervisor, Pharmacy RPh – Disease Group Pharmacy

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $157,400–$169,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily disease group pharmacy operations, including medication storage, preparation, and dispensing.
• Coordinate workflow and staffing schedules to maintain adequate patient-care coverage.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing competency management.
• Identify and resolve operational, patient-care, and medication-safety issues.
• Implement policies, standard operating procedures, process improvements, and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Active license to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, regulatory standards, and relevant pharmacy software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to provide direct patient contact through clinical specialist practice and consultative services.

Nice to have

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Certification in a related pharmacy specialty or advanced specialty-practice training.
