Industrial Maintenance Technician - Rotating DuPont Schedule

Location: 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA. Onsite role working a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Starting pay: highly competitive rates plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery using drawings, schematics, and precision tools.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, switchboards, automated controls, and circuit breakers.
• Use PLCs to identify faults in automated production lines and implement corrective measures.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support engineers with long-term process improvements and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proven expertise in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with production teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Painesville, Ohio, on a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in manufacturing, electrical disciplines, or an equivalent qualification.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Advanced PLC root-cause diagnostic skills.
