Manager, Maintenance II

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; onsite at the Minneapolis plant

Salary: $86,000–$111,000 annual salary, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Lead the Maintenance Department and provide technical and managerial direction for plant maintenance activities.
• Own safety performance, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, hazard recognition, and employee accountability.
• Develop maintenance strategies that improve spending, labor efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational excellence.
• Build preventive maintenance and FMEA programs based on equipment criticality and operational risk.
• Use EAM systems to manage work execution, maintenance efficiency, and cost performance.
• Develop employee capabilities, succession planning, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Experience with predictive or preventive maintenance, maintenance metrics, continuous improvement, and MRO or stores inventory management.
• Strong computer skills required; CMSS/EAM experience preferred.
• Controls aptitude and PLC troubleshooting experience are preferred, as is maintenance supervision in extrusion plant operations.
