Maintenance Technician (PLC/Manufacturing)

Location: 4437 Walden Ave, Lancaster, NY 14086, USA; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday

Salary: USD 55,000–70,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment failures and initiate repairs on PLC-controlled machinery.
• Adjust and replace electrical sensors and perform preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Complete machine changeovers, replace tooling, and start up or shut down facility equipment.
• Use metalworking tools and equipment, read manuals, drawings, and schematics, and perform rigging or machinery moves.
• Respond to spills, pest-control needs, and emergency generator changeovers as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pneumatics, ladder logic, basic electrical systems, machine operation, and PLC equipment.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school plus two years of PLC-controlled equipment repair experience, or a high school diploma plus six years of such experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Forklift and scissor lift certifications required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment safely and interpret technical documentation.
