Maintenance Manager (AI)

Location: Louisville, KY, United States. Onsite work in a manufacturing plant near electrical and mechanical equipment; the production environment is usually loud and operates 24/5.

What you will do

• Lead the site maintenance and facilities team, including maintenance supervision, planning, and electrical support functions.
• Ensure maintenance coverage, equipment uptime, parts availability, and achievement of maintenance KPIs in a 24/5 operation.
• Build team capability through coaching, training, goal setting, and safety leadership.
• Lead capital improvement projects, manage departmental budgets, and coordinate equipment and facility initiatives.
• Develop predictive and productive maintenance practices using equipment data monitoring, maintenance software, and building management systems.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and safety teams on environmental, health, safety, energy, water, and waste-reduction programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and proven direct leadership experience.
• 8–10 years of technical leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience building maintenance programs and achieving proactive preventive and predictive maintenance results.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
• Experience with team development, communication, maintenance KPIs, and adapting to new technologies.
• Ability to strategically apply artificial intelligence tools and technologies to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of robotics and automation.
• Knowledge of Lean Maintenance or Production, Six Sigma, and TPM systems.
